Welcome to the Helen Feather Memorial Trust For Cancer Projects

The Trust was established as a registered charity in 2002 in memory of a brave and beautiful girl called Helen who died after an enormous battle against cancer.

The aims of the Trust are to support people with cancer and raise money for carefully selected Cancer Research Projects. We try always to give the money directly to the projects thus avoiding money being spent on administration or management.

We held our 5th Autumn Ball for Cancer on October 5th 2007 at The Hurlingham Club and raised £270,000! Just over £230,000 of the money raised will go to The Cancer Vaccine Institute to help with Professor Dalgleish's wonderful work at St George's Hospital. The rest of the money will be going to The Royal Marsden Hospital. It was a wonderful evening with the main entertainment by Shayne Ward (who gave his performance free to the charity.) Other entertainers were Gwen Dickie (previously lead singer with Rolls Royce) and opera /crossover singer Alexandria Beck. See 'Autumn Ball for Cancer Projects' At our Ball in 2004 we raised £218,000. None of the money from either Balls will be spent on administration.

Before she died , Helen helped raise over £300,000 for Cancer Projects, including Clic, The Cancer Vaccine Institute, Gynecological Cancer Research, Macmillan Nurses, St Michael's Hospice and The Barry Reed Lab at Bart's Hospital.

Please also take the time to see the our new Cancer Vaccine Institute Video. The video is also available on Vimeo for anyone who wants to put the video on their website.
